About the event

The Let Black Girls Live: Black Girl Summer Social Series is a four-part community conversation series created and led by girls in Save Girls on F.Y.E.R.'s Liberation Academy. Centering the voices, experiences, and leadership of Black and brown girls ages 12+, each session combines meaningful dialogue with a fun Summer Social atmosphere featuring a live DJ, games, snacks, and opportunities to connect.

Seen. Safe. Supported. invites girls, their parents, caregivers, families, educators, community members, and allies into an honest, affirming conversation about what it truly means to feel safe, valued, and understood. Curated by the Liberation Academy Girls, this session explores what emotional, social, and cultural safety looks like in schools, homes, and neighborhoods; unpacks the pressures Black girls carry and why mental health and healing matter; and pushes back against harmful stereotypes to reclaim the real stories of Black girlhood.

Together, participants will celebrate the brilliance, resilience, and futures of Black…
