2025 SGOF Performance

PURE’ FYER is a four-part theatrical production that explores the physical, emotional, environmental, and economic impact of water injustice in Black and Brown communities. Created and performed by youth from Save Girls On F.Y.E.R.’s Leadership Academy, this original work blends storytelling, science, and advocacy to remind us that healing is both personal and collective.

Each act—invites the audience to witness how water connects every part of life: our homes, our history, our health, and our hope.

Through Education, Liberation, and Celebration, the production transforms fear into awareness, awareness into action, and action into joy.

This event marks the culmination of a seven-month project that included a theater intensive with ASAP! and environmental research with Flanders Nature Center & Land Trust. Participants have integrated core studies on leadership, character development, and social justice into their work.
